An Executive Summary for the Alliance for Early Success succeeds by challenging client expectations

AES Executive Summary

The Alliance for Early Success is a catalyst for bringing state and national funding partners together to improve policies for children, starting at birth and continuing through age eight. By designing and writing the introduction, I elevated the quality of their Executive Summary and, in doing so, challenged AES to think beyond anything that had been produced in previous years. By opening with a short, but meaningful narrative highlighting what it means to vulnerable children when policy changes have a positive impact on their lives and future, I was able to deliver a more compelling message and a more meaningful experience for readers. The smaller than usual format, and succinct messaging, also encouraged sharing.
